**** conjob talking point. You oversimplify because you don't know jack **** about it. When I worked in a welfare to work program, in the welfare reform TANF years during the Clinton presidency, the first thing I found out was that 25% of my caseload were people who had either undiagnosed intellectual impairments, undiagnosed mental health impairments, even a few with undiagnosed physical/medical impairments, or some combination of all three. These people...25% of long term welfare recipients....should never have been on welfare. They should have been on Social Security Disability....SSD if they had enough quarters of work over the previous 10 years, SSI if they didn't. And they should have been provided with assessments to determine what the problems actually were. It never happened then, it still doesn't happen now. People in our program were fully assessed and a majority of them were helped to find employment that they could manage based on their disability.
You don't know jack **** about welfare recipients, welfare law, or basic information on welfare at all.
If you did you wouldn't make an ignorant comment like this.
